Join us for an engaging “Ask the Expert” webinar as we dive into the fascinating world of Atom Probe Tomography (APT). Our experts will address pre-submitted questions from the audience, focusing on the chemical and structural analysis capabilities of APT.
APT utilizes ultra-high electrostatic fields, in the order of 10s V/nm, to ionize and remove atoms from a specimen’s surface, providing atomic resolution compositional data from the evaporated volume. This technique offers single-atom detectability with 3D elemental distribution, making it ideal for studying local composition and phenomena at the nanometer scale, such as diffusion, segregation, and clustering. Originally used in metallurgy, APT’s applications have greatly expanded to include ceramics and cutting-edge electronic devices.
Our extensive experience in atom probing allows us to deliver high-quality, informative analytical services. Coupled with our strength in electron microscopy, we will also demonstrate the advantages of correlative analysis between Transmission Electron Microscopy (TEM) and APT.
Whether you’re new to APT or seeking a deeper understanding of its capabilities, this 60-minute session is for you. Our experts will answer your pre-submitted questions, and if time runs out, we’ll follow up with email responses to any unanswered queries. Don’t miss this opportunity to learn what APT can do for you!
