Stefan Karnavas, EAG Laboratories

Stefan Karnavas is President of our Materials Science and Engineering Science businesses. 

On January 1, 2019, Stefan was promoted to President of Eurofins | EAG Laboratories and is responsible for leading the company’s Materials and Engineering Science businesses in the North America. He is also the International Business Line Leader for the global business coordinating growth strategies, M&A, operations, quality, brand, and commercial alignment across the global network of EAG sites. 

Stefan played a key role in the company’s recent growth trajectory and its recapitalization under Eurofins Scientific ownership. Prior to his role as President, he served as EAG Laboratories Chief Financial Officer from 2015 to 2018.

Stefan’s background includes experience scaling businesses rapidly in the fields of telecommunication services, technology, consumer packaged goods, leisure and hospitality, banking, and venture capital, etc.

Stefan graduated from the University of Denver with a BSBA in Finance and from UCLA’s Anderson School of Management with an MBA.
